I graduated with honors from SMU in 2010 with a double major in creative advertising and business management. During my college years, I was a One Show finalist and an intern at Tribal DDB.
I’ve worked at Beam Suntory, TM, The Richards Group, GSD&M and Proof Advertising for a total of about 9 years. My clients have included Universal Orlando Resorts, Jim Beam, Statoil, Community Coffee, Taco Bueno, Schwab Trading, the Southeastern Conference, Chipotle, GameStop, Motel 6, Goodyear, PGA TOUR, Zales, Southwest Airlines, Harrah’s Casinos, San Antonio Tourism, Moontower Comedy Festival, Baylor University, Texas Hyatt Resorts, Schweigert Meats and Waterloo Gin, to name just a couple.
After spending the first five years of my life in Chicago, surrounded by art, copy and the occasional playground, my parents up and moved to Ohio. Bummer. Even with this momentous setback, I still managed to become a copywriter. In other news, I’m half Norwegian, I excel at most games found in office buildings and I shamelessly own a pair of rollerblades.
Occasional pats on the back, ADDYs, Communication Arts, Lürzer’s Archive, Radio Mercury Awards finalist, Print Magazine, Graphis 100 Best in Advertising 2013, featured in The New York Times and voted ‘Most Collaborative’ and ‘Most Curious’ at Proof Advertising. I also co-wrote a short film that was screened at the Dallas International Film Festival.
